Mini Angel Food Cakes with Warm Berries

Every time I go to the grocery store, I always put on the list mini angel food cakes, but somehow, I always forget. I don’t know how I highlight it, write it in bold,circle the words miniature angel food cakes, but somehow I always forget it. Why the craze over angel food cake you ask, weeeelll because they’re flat out awesome! They’re like a cloud, light, fluffy, moist, and sweet.
I know what you’re thinking, why not just bake your own angel food cake. My answer : making angel food cake is a true art, an art that I have not yet perfected, but I intend on doing so in the very near future, and sharing my experience with you. Until then, i’ll just get the already made angel food cakes from the grocery store(they’re pretty tasty), and dress them up, with my home made warm berry topping, and whipped cream. What a delicious dessert! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
4 miniature angel food cakes
1/4 cup of frozen chopped strawberries
1/4 cup of frozen chopped peaches
1/4 cup of frozen blueberries
1 teaspoon of sugar
whipped cream
Directions
In a medium sized pot, combine fruit and sugar, and cook over medium low heat until sugar dissolves, juices start to flow and thicken, and fruit is heat all the way through. (Fruit should not be overcooked,just for tender. ) Let sit for 2- 5 minutes or until sauce thickens just a bit. Serve over angel food cake, and top with whipped cream. Store any remaining fruit in an airtight container, in the refrigerator.
